Youth Group

For 6th-12th graders, the Youth Group is a chance to come together with other youth who want to live the Christian life and make a difference in the world. The Youth Group meets on Sunday afternoons between 5:00 and 7:00PM, and other times for outings and special events. Some favorite activities include an annual Youth Retreat at Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center, an overnight “Lock-In” at the church, original theatrical productions written and directed by church member Deanna Alexander, and outings such as the spring trip to Six Flags Great Adventure. Serious discussions in an open and honest environment help youth to relate their Christian faith to the tough choices they must make when it comes to friends, alcohol and drugs, or preparing for the future. The Youth Group can help kids stay connected to Christ and make lifelong friendships.
