Sunbeams
The children’s song, "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam” is the inspiration for the name of our children’s choir. The Sunbeams are an Olivet tradition dating back more than 15 years. The children rehearse two or three times a month on Sundays after worship, and perform an anthem during worship every other month during the school year. Songs based on Bible verses and simple praise songs help children learn the basics of the Christian faith while making joyful music.
